The Winged Migration Expo will be held on Mare Island in Vallejo, California, and celebrates the return of over one million shorebirds and hundreds of thousands of ducks, geese, hawks, and songbirds that migrate through or winter in the North Bay area held at the peak of migration! The event will kickoff on Friday evening with a VIP reception in a relaxed, social setting in which attendees can mingle with bird experts, conservationists, and fellow enthusiasts. There will be guided walking tours, keynote speakers, art show, exhibitors, local food vendors, interactive kids’ bird-themed activities, hands-on demonstrations, live birds, and more. |
