| Come in and see what is happening in the Colfax area from Blue Canyon to Meadow Vista. Visit with our volunteer ambassadors to find out about tourist information, AMTRAK train information, maps, Walk about Colfax Guides, local wineries, where to eat and stay, information about local businesses and recreation. Our depot gift shop has many gifts made locally. We also have snacks and drinks, train and bus waiting room and very nice restroom facilities. Also visit the many shops in our charming old town Main Street, including the Creative Corner Arts & Crafts gift shop where you can buy items made locally. We also have shadow art murals throughout old town Colfax, see how many you can find. Colfax is considered a Train Town and have a Railroad Day Festival 3rd Saturday in September. The arts are big in Colfax with an Art walk and cruise in car show every 3rd Friday in the warm months from 3pm to 8 pm. | |||
