This is the third in a series of polymer clay workshops. While not mandatory to attend all three classes, each class will build upon what was presented in the previous class.*
We'll use the millefiori technique (also known as making "canes") to create intricate kaleidoscope canes.
We will learn how to think like a 3-D printer! Millefiori is a famous glass-making technique meaning "a thousand flowers" in Italian, and is known for creating colorful, flower-like mosaic patterns using layered glass canes. We will be using this same technique but will be using polymer clay instead of glass.
Please bring a lunch as this will be a long class.
Students may make the most of our class time by having their clay conditioned before class begins.
