Keynote, tours, family funday Sunday The Environmental Action Committee of West Marin (EAC) launched the Point Reyes Birding & Nature Festival in 2010 to help foster awareness, appreciation, and stewardship of the region while raising funds to protect and sustain the unique lands, waters, and biodiversity of West Marin. Grab your chicks ages 3-15 and flock to the festival for free Sunday activities with us! Flap your way into a day filled with egg-citing activities for nature-loving families. Here's the scoop: Kick-off at 10:30 AM: Meet two owls from the All About Owls rescue team, who will perch proudly for their big debut. Learn about these talon-ted ambassadors, their fascinating adaptations, and their critical roles in local ecosystems. Arrive on time, settle on the lawn, and use your best “owl ears†to keep these feathered stars calm! Activity Passport Adventure: After the presentation, pick up your festival passport at the Amigos Alados (Winged Friends) table, and explore every station to earn a sticker. Once completed, score a goodie bag packed with treasures from our friends at World Migratory Bird Day. |
